二陈汤 Er Chen Tang
Ingredients:
Chief---Ban Xia (Rhizoma pineliae ternatae) 15g
Deputy---Ju Hong /Chen Pi (Pericarpium citri erythrocarpae) 15g
Assistant---Fu Ling (Sclerotium poriae cocos) 9g
Assistant---Sheng Jiang (Rhizome zingiberis officinalis recins) 3g
Assistant---Wu Mei (Fructus pruni mume) 1 pieces
Envoy---Zhi Gan Cao (Honey fried radix glycyrrhixae uralensis) 5g
Actions: Dry dampness and resolve phlegm, regulate Qi and harmonize the middle
Indications: Phlegm dampness syndrome manifested as coughing copious white sputum that is easily expectorated, chest and diaphragm distension, nausea and vomiting, poor appetite, palpitations, dizziness, white thick greasy coating, slippery pulse.
温胆汤Wen Dan Tang
Ingredients:
Chief---Ban Xia (Rhizome pinelliae ternatae) 9g
Deputy---Zhu Ru (Caulis bambusae in taeniis) 9g
Assistant---Zhi Shi (Fructus immaturus citri aurantii) 9g
Assistant---Chen Pi (Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae) 12g
Assistant---Fu Ling (Sclerotium poriae cocos) 5g
Envoy---Sheng Jiang (Rhizoma zingiberis officinalis recens) 5 pieces
Envoy---Da Zao (Fructus zizyphi jujubae)…1 piece

小陷胸汤 Xiao Xian Xiong Tang
Ingredients:
Gua Lou (fructus trichosanthis)…30g
Huang Lian (rhizoma coptidis)…3g
Jiang Ban Xia (ginger fried rhizoma pinelliae ternatae)…12g
Actions: clear Heat, transform Phlegm, expand chest, dissipates clumps
Indications: chest and epigastrium distension that are painful when pressed, coughing yellow sputum, constipation, bitter taste in mouth, yellow greasy tongue coat, slippery rapid pulse.
滚痰丸 Gun Tan Wan
Ingredients:
Duan Meng Shi (calcined lapis miicase seu chloriti)…30g
Da Huang (radix & rhizoma rhei)…240g
Huang Qin (radix scutellariae baicalensis)…240g
Chen Xiang (lignum aquilariae)…15g
Take 6-9g. 2 times a day.
Actions: drains Fire, drives out Phlegm, opens orifices
Indications: mania-depression, palpitation, anxiety, or severe to coma, coughing and wheezing with thick sputum, focal distension in the chest and abdomen, dizziness and tinnitus, there is always constipation, yellow thick greasy tongue coat, slippery rapid and forceful pulse.

贝母瓜蒌散Bei Mu Gua Lou San

Bei Mu (bulbus fritillariae).5g

Actions: moisten lung, clear heat, regulate Qi and resolve phlegm
Indications: cough with sputum that is difficult to expectorate, wheezing, dry sore throat, red dry tongue with scanty coat, rapid thin strong pulse.

Ingredients:
Fu Ling (sclerotium poriae cocos)…12g

Indications: coughing with profuse, white sputum. Chest discomfort, white slippery tongue coat, wiry slippery pulse.

Indications: Epilepsy, recurrent vertigo, weakness, stifling sensation in the chest followed by a sudden loss of consciousness and falling down, rolling back of the eyes, mouth deviation, spitting up mucus with a loud raspy sound, convulsions, sudden screaming, incontinence of bowels or urine, white greasy tongue coat, wiry slippery pulse.
