Definition
A group of disorders whose symptoms rang from flaccidity and weakness in sinuws and muscles to diminished muscle mass

1. Multiple sclerosis多发性硬化,多发性脑脊髓硬化症--- a chronic egenerative disease of the central nervous system in which gradual destruction of myelin occurs in patches throughout the brain or spinal cord or both, interfering with the nerve pathways and causing muscular weakness, loss of coordination, and speech and visual disturbances. It occurs chiefly in young adults and is thought to be caused by a defect in the immune system that may be of genetic or viral origin.
2. Myasthenia gravis重症肌无力--- a disease characterized by progressive fatigue and generalized weakness of the skeletal muscles, especially those of the face, neck, arms, and legs, caused by impaired transmission of nerve impulses following an autoimmune attack on acetylcholine receptors.
